On April 29, another working meeting of the ERA-NET Bioenergy project took place at the Faculty of Chemistry of Jagiellonian University. The meeting was devoted to the BioHEAT project “Development of a process chain based on opportunity fuels for heat production in industrial processes,” being carried out by Jagiellonian University in Krakow and the Danex sp.z.o.o company and partners from Austria and Germany.
During the meeting, participants had the opportunity to present the progress of the work and discuss the next steps needed to achieve the goals of the BioHEAT project. The presentations covered both research results and planned development activities. It is worth noting that the BioHEAT project focuses on the use of so-called “opportunity fuels” for heat production in industrial processes, which is an innovative approach in the field of biomass utilization.
During the discussion, the topic of coordination between the project partners was also addressed, and possible challenges that may arise in the further implementation phase were discussed. The meeting ended with the determination of specific steps to be taken in the near future and the setting of directions for the project.
