Consistently since the Master's degree she has been dealing with heterogeneous catalysis and methods of quantitative description of active centers first in zeolite systems and now transition metal oxides.
Currently she is working on a doctoral dissertation devoted to the development of a methodology for the qualitative and quantitative study of active centers on oxide catalysts based on infrared IR spectroscopy techniques. Research focuses on metal oxide catalysts for oxidation and reduction processes, in particular for the complete oxidation of methane.
